In Goms you can experience over 100 kilometers of perfectly prepared cross-country skiing trails, both classic and skating. The tracks extend over the entire high valley from Oberwald to Niederwald. Whether with the Goms cross-country skiing season ticket (Talisman) or the day ticket, the train and bus of the Matterhorn Gotthardbahn is included. Are you an endurance runner or a leisurely cross-country skier? There is a suitable track for everyone, be it alone, as a couple, in a group or with your dog. Infrastructure Loipe Goms

Infrastructure Loipe Goms means that everything from changing rooms to showers to training tracks is available for cross-country skiing. The use of the facilities is included in the cross-country ski pass.

The Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn between Oberwald and Fiesch Feriendorf is included in the day tickets and the season ticket (Talisman). The season ticket (Talisman) is only valid with a photo for travel on the MGBahn. The journeys are also valid without cross-country skiing equipment. Excluded are the season pass of Loipe Schweiz (Swiss cross-country ski pass), the Glacier Express, 1st class and commuter rides.
Children up to the age of 16 can cross-country ski for free on the Loipe Goms, but pay the regular rates for the use of the MGBahn (the Junior and children ticket is valid when accompanied by a parent or grandparent with a valid Loipe Goms cross-country skiing ticket).

ALETSCH GLACIER MEETS GOMS CROSS-COUNTRY SKI TRAIL

One pass for alpine and cross-country skiing

At last, there is the perfect combi-ticket for downhill and cross-country skiers: a season ski pass for the Aletsch Arena combined with the Talisman Season Pass for the Goms cross-country trail, including second-class travel on the MGBahn between Brig and Oberwald.

Over 100 kilometres of perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails for both classic and skate styles await you in the entire high valley from Oberwald to Niederwald, as well as 104 kilometres of ski slopes, 72 kilometres of winter hiking trails and 18 kilometres of sledge runs on Riederalp, Bettmeralp and in the Fiesch-Eggishorn area.

Pure enjoyment

The culinary tour on cross-country skis in the cross-country skiing paradise of Goms. Glide relaxed through the picturesque winter landscape and stop off at three selected restaurants. The hosts will spoil your palate with local delicacies after each stage. The 3-course menu can be experienced between Oberwald and Niederwald on at least 20 kilometres of cross-country ski trails. Arrange your enjoyment day as you wish. The train of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn will take you back to your starting point in comfort.

Int. Gommerlauf

The International Gommerlauf as a traditional cross-country skiing event is firmly anchored in the event calendar and will take place for the 52nd time this year. The race is sure to attract numerous athletes to Goms once again.
