Obergoms Tourismus AG based in Münster is the regional tourism organisation for all villages and towns from Niederwald to Oberwald/Gletsch. The team is responsible for designing offers, promoting the region and keeping informed all guests in Obergoms and Goms. We also take care of the cross-country ski track Goms and organise the Goms Ski Marathon (Int. Gommerlauf).

The reporting system is based on the cantonal police law. Our system for the creation of the personal guest card / Discovery Pass is called Deskline MeldeClient and comes from the company Feratel.

Each holiday apartment has its own access to the MeldeClient. With this system all guest cards are generated and sent by email. Printing a guest card is still possible.

The step by step guide to create a digital guest card.

Guest data are stored in each users account of the MeldeClient. When creating a new registration form, guests who have already been registered can be selected and integrated with a single click.

Use the "QuickCheckIn" option and create the possibility for your guests to register in advance. After entering the registration form, this guest and his fellow travellers will be listed in the "MeldeClient" under the tab "Pre-registration" and can be imported as a registration form by clicking on it. Based on the guest data entered by the guest, the digital discovery passport can be quickly generated and sent by email.


Deskline is our reservation system. We offer various interfaces for online platforms and booking websites. Guests have the chance to book their vacations without having to spend a lot of time in waiting queues to check availabilities. A central «collection point» for all relevant data is advantageous because it helps prevent misinformation and enhances data quality. This will make it a lot easier for landlords or hotel managements to administer their offers on the big internet «market» place.

Guests’ behaviour today requires service providers to rethink existing processes. Spontaneous or last-minute bookings, shorter dwelling time and new technologies call for a flexible and professional booking system. The Upper Valais, from Brig to Oberwald, has decided to implement the Deskline System. The contact agency for all service providers of Obergoms (Oberwald to Niederwald) is Obergoms Tourismus AG.

The system is user friendly and does not generate any commission costs for providers of accommodation. As of 01 November 2019, an annual fee will be charged for processing and support in the reservation system:

  • Apartments "bookable online" (incl. MeldeClient) à CHF 100.00
  • Apartments "on request" (incl. MeldeClient) à CHF 180.00
  • Hotel "bookable online" (incl. MeldeClient) à CHF 50.00
  • Hotel "on request" (incl. MeldeClient) à CHF 90.00

The tourism organisations rely on active support of staff of hotels and accommodation providers to ensure the functionality of the system. Only regular updates of contingents and prices, as well as bookable objects in Deskline, facilitate direct booking for our guests. Nowadays, guests are used to look for accommodation online and change websites immediately if there are no availabilities. Our staff at Obergoms Tourismus AG are happy to help and answer the questions of all hoteliers and accommodation providers concerning the reservation system Deskline.


In mid-January 2021, the Valais digital marketplace was launched on the website. Open to all Valais destinations, it is open to sell bookable products and experiences. The destinations, partners and products included are constantly being expanded.

If you are interested in marketing your accommodation via this platform, you have the opportunity of placing the online bookable accommodation on our Feratel system on The interface between our Feratel DMS and the marketplace already exists, so from a technical point of view there are no obstacles to integration.

A commission of 10% is due for bookings made via this website. This means that 90% of the booking amount collected by will be paid out to the lessor. Every online bookable lessor on our Feratel system who wishes to be distributed via must sign a corresponding agreement accepting this commission.
